Here’s a picture of my autozone brake rotors on my race Integra Type R. The rotors are 6 races old and cost $35 each. They have worn over that time maybe a 16th inch. The cobalt pads are 4 races old and have 50% material left.
These front brakes pull down my 2700 pound car from 110 to 50 mph without complaint every lap. At Road America, I brake at the 2 marker in turn 5.
In comparison, my first VW Rabbit race car chewed up a set of pads a weekend and could get hardly get over 90 mph on the track. In a Rabbit at RA, I was braking at about the 3 and 1/2 marker. Modern brakes are unbelievable compared to what we had in the ‘80's....

I was partial to the napa rotors when I wanted a rotor I could run hard and replace inexpensively.
Have you looked at the DBA stuff? If they have a 2 piece for the integra, you could shed some weight at an inexpensive price point for a two piece

After two years with normal driving and occasional fun, my brakes are at 80% front, 70% rear. Having owned cars where pads had to be changed yearly and rotors biyearly, I don’t understand how that works.

Nice idea about the DBA’s but I have to run stock rotors.

Yes and I played with those when I had potato chip brakes like on my CRX but why pay the toll when my rotors are costing $12 a race?

Get some drilled/slotted rotors and better pads and they will last even longer....

I suppose they’re only worth it if they hold up a significantly longer amount of time. Otherwise, yeah, might as well do the cheapies.

Unfortunately the class only allows stock rotors. By the way, the pads are Cobalt brand which I find to be exceptional. They are not cheap but no fade and exceptional grip.

These are for racing, Put them on a street car and they might last 200,000 miles. I am though very pleased with the new stop techs I put on my Uplander. If you need to haul it down like I do when towing, they have a great feel.

I have Stoptech d/s rotors with Akebono pads on my Voyager. So far they’ve been on for 50k miles and they’re still about 70%. They give good feel, don’t fade even when towing, and seem to produce minimal dust.
